The Montenegrin Employers Federation (MEF) is an umbrella employers’ organization, strongly committed to creating an environment for the development of sustainable enterprises. In the processes of representing and protecting the interests of the MEF membership, we actively contribute to the promotion of business environment, elimination of business barriers and the strengthening of competitiveness of our economy. We provide information on regulations and prescribed obligations, compliance with legal norms, open calls, competitions and support programs, and other important issues.
Legal support
We provide free legal advice services in all areas that are relevant to the company’s business. We especially highlight consulting in the field of labor legislation.
Representation
We protect the rights of employers and represent their interests in relations with state administration bodies, local self-government bodies, and institutions, professional organizations and associations.
Education
We organize workshops, seminars, round tables, conferences and other forms of business education. We also process topics of importance for business through publications that we publish regularly.
Networking
We encourage the cooperation of the members of the MEF and connect them with businessmen and associations of employers, entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized companies at the regional and international level.
Promocija
We organize events aimed at promoting the members of the Union and award annual prizes to those who have stood out for their business and results.
By participating in numerous bodies at the national level, participating in working groups for drafting regulations and intensive work through the submission of comments and suggestions, in the previous period MEF has achieved a number of concrete results that are important for business activity in Montenegro.
